Isabelle Love grew up in Grey County and lived in several countries before settling down in Owen Sound. This is her account of her adventures here and elsewhere. From milking cows by hand on the family farm (keep clear of the ones that kick) to the long walk to and from school (especially in deep winter snow) and the joys of a close knit community of friends and family, she remembers her childhood as eventful.
After attending the Northern Business College in Owen Sound, she moved and to Nassau and then the Dominican Republic where she married her high school sweetheart, Lyle Love. Eventually they moved to Owen Sound where Isabelle became a real estate agent and Lyle was the City Manager. This is her first book.
